I would have to say that spring is my favorite of all season's. I love watching new growth pushing its way up through the earth. Full of strength and determination. A metaphor that I never tier of. Year after year, I gain encouragement from it. Over the past week I have witnessed: the green grass sprouting up ever where, forsythia blooming, crocuses in bloom, my first blue heron of the season. I even heard pine cones pinging open.
This pair of bunnies, I finished up Saturday afternoon, just in time for the Easter bunny to deliver them.
I have followed many recipes for chocolate chip cookies over the past decade or so. Sure, I made some delicious cookies in that time frame. But, I never found that one recipe that I would continuously go back to. Inside a Black Apple had posted this cookie recipe a while back, and then I came across another blog post (where I do not recall) about this same recipe, so I had to try. The recipe is a keeper, a little crunchy and a little soft. Perfection!
